Welcome to the Old Folks page! We love our ADULTS here at NBDC. Our community is lively, enthusiastic, funny, and fun and we hope you'll join us.

We have several options for our 18+ crowd at NBDC. We have ADULT specific weekly classes as well as Friday Fun Nights.
We also invite and encourage our adult dancers to take any of our Level I & II classes.
All classes are drop in. Class Passes can be used for all classes. 

Weekly Classes @ NBDC

We offer Adult Tap & Adult Beginner Hip Hop weekly @ NBDC.

    • ADULT Beginner Hip Hop     Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 pm
  • Classes begin the week of August 18.
  • All classes are drop in.
  • You can buy a single Class Pass or up to a 20 Class Pass!

Friday Fun Night @ NBDC 

For our dancers who are 18+, we have what we call FRIDAY FUN NIGHTS. They happen on Fridays at night and they are, in fact, FUN. All classes are *pretty much* geared towards beginners. We have an amazing range of ages and skill levels in our Friday Fun Night classes. We offer 3 classes in different styles. The styles change each month. Whether you've never danced before or you've been dancing your whole life - you'll get something out of our classes for adults!

  • Friday Fun Night is held the first Friday of each month.
  • Class Passes can be used for Friday Fun Nights (see Class Pass info to the left under "Weekly Classes").

MOVEmeant WORKSHOP @ NBDC - November 29

Movement. Reflection. Connection.
All 3 will be the focus and theme of our very first MOVEmeant Workshop for movers 18+.

Movers will be led through meaningful exercises that will incorporate and integrate movement, reflection, and connection.
The workshop will begin with a feel-good warm up session meant to move the body, mind, and soul. We'll continue with guided and choreographed movement to encourage whatever we may need in the moment. There will be opportunities to connect with other movers during breakout sessions. The day will conclude with a shared meal where we can relax, reflect, and enjoy the experience and one another.

The MOVEmeant WORKSHOP is for ANYONE age 18+. No dance experience is necessary. The only requirement is openness, curiosity, and a desire to connect with self and others.
